We have been producing a lot of products utilizing know-how of processing multi-layered materials.
We originally have skills forging multi-layer iron to make the core much harder and this creates one of the highest qualities in the world. We used the Damascus skills that have been cultivated by making forged Japanese sword on Japanese-style knives.
“Easiness to use” is from western-style and “Comfortable grip and convenience of being able to change the handle” are from Japanese-style knives. It is a fusion of modern style and Japanese tradition. The beautiful 63 Damascus layers pattern is not too much to say that it is a headliner. (*peeling and paring knives are 37 layers.)

Real Buffalo Horn Ferrule,
Comfortable Grip and Environmental Performance

Employed oak wood with buffalo ferrule handle that is used for high-quality Japanese knives in common.
The shape and diameter are designed using our know-how have been accumulated since our establishment. Especially , for the knives such as peeling and paring peculiar to western countries, we newly designed smaller handles.
The more you use, buffalo ferrule tightens the base of the blade that means the blade become hard to come out. Of course you can replace with new handle when it becomes old.

Artistic Edging with Heart and Soul

Sticking to sharpness, the edge satisfies even professionals. We have more than 5 manufacturing process for edging on this series and are willing to spend a lot of time. Usually, durability is required for business-use, however, “Tojiro” have been pursuing the sharpness and studying edging and structure of a blade for a long time. This is one of a reason that many professionals use “Tojiro” as their favorite knife all over the world.

Brilliant Blade, Just Like “Kamikaze” Blowing Through the Air

Damascus pattern on the blade is a proof of forging and the 63 layers leads to amazing ultimate keenness. The keenness is literally reminds everybody of “Kamikaze”.
